New Yacht Marina (NYM), a latvian company owned by BMHC, is running an investment project within the territory of Ventspils Free Port, aimed to develop service infrastructure and berthing facilities of the yacht port and the adjacent recreational area. The scope of the projected improvements suggests that upon the project completion the Ventspils Yacht Port will become one of the largest and most modern in the Eastern Baltics, offering clients a wide range of both specialized and related services during yachting season and beyond.
In addition, BMHC through its subsidiaries and in partnership with local fishing companies and fishermen is implementing a project on nearby territories of the Ventspils Free Port aimed to renovation and modernization of berths, catch and gear warehousing and service infrastructure for coastal fishing.
Another perspective area is a real estate investment project suggesting conversion of decommissioned industrial land and facilities into a hotel and other seasonal tourist and recreation premises totaling approx. 10.000 sq.m. in compliance with Ventspils City planning. The concept of the project includes involvement of a spa-hotel chain operator from Germany.
BMHC also runs a land development project (2,7 hectare) in Melluzi, Yurmala, via its Latvian subsidiary.
